Universal Impression Block PT-U

Application

The Universal Impression Block PT-U is designed to determine tool or equipment location in string during repair and recovery works in the well. Different nozzles: lead, bitumen and cerasin extend the opportunities of exploitation.

Design

The Universal Impression Block PT-U has a sub with thread connection, body with thread connection, lockdown screw and a matrix. The matrix comes in three types: lead, bitumen and cerasin. Each matrix has its own type of body. The tool is equipped with a groove for washover.

Lead, bitumen and cerasin allow to choose necessary plasticity and determine tool configuration in the well. Matrixes are tightly connected and therefore secured from being left at the bottomhole.

The Impression Block is connected to the fishing string and lowered into the well until reaching the object.
